Regional Business Council

November 20, 2008

I’m going to say that the Regional Business Council (RBC) is a lower-profile organization than the Regional Commerce & Growth Association (RCGA), and I’m glad I came across it today. These mid-cap companies seem to me the next tier of companies ripe for international trade, if they are not already involved.

Add this organization to your list of resources and great contacts in the St. Louis Region.

As their Web site says, “… the RBC is composed of 100 CEOs representing some of the region’s largest employers. These companies have a tremendous impact on the economic health of the region, employing over 100,000 people and generating over $50 billion in revenue annually. Most RBC companies are headquartered in the region and all have a vested interest in the development of the region’s 16 counties.”

To unite and engage members to act on high-impact business, civic and philanthropic affairs for the betterment of the St. Louis region.

To engage a broad base of regional business leaders representing some of the region’s largest employers to orchestrate a unique transformation of the St. Louis business, civic and philanthropic community.
