Webster University, my alma mater, is readying the space to host a Confucius Institute at their downtown St. Louis campus, in the Old Post Office building complex. Dr. Debra Pierce is the director (Director, Center for International Education and Confucius Institute), and Ms. Li Fang was recently hired to be program director for the institute. I had the pleasure of seeing them both at the Ritz Carlton here in St. Louis yesterday morning, at a US Chamber of Commerce event on trade with China. The Confucius Institute is a tremendous resource for St. Louis!
