Features a listing of internet TV streams and online video feeds to help you practice your understanding of putonghua language and become fluent in the culture and news of China. Several TV stations are from Beijing, but many of them are from other large cities across China’s mainland, as well as Hong Kong and Taiwan broadcasts.
I just found this today, myself, and next step is to hook up my laptop to our 42-inch HD TV & surround sound system.
The Little Bit Foundation

The Little Bit Foundation is a non-profit organization in St. Louis that provides clothes & school supplies to 3,000 of the neediest children in 12 of St. Louis’s inner-city schools. Their online gift store offers numerous ways to give starting at $5 for socks, $10 for underwear, on up to sponsoring a school.
None of us can do everything, but each of us can do something (a Little Bit).
As the Web site says, “The reality is that poverty affects every aspect of a child’s life.”
